Q: Are you originally from Clark County?
A: No, I am however a very long time resident of Clark county, I moved here in 1973!
Q: Did you go to school for art or was it a project of passion?
A: Being self taught, I attended workshop and fun classes, not a formal structured education. I use art as therapy and relaxation.
Q: You do a lot of paint parties, was that the goal to start?
A: Doing art and working can be isolating. I consider having paint parties as my social life. I enjoy sharing what I have learned, making new friends and having fun with current friends. Abettor Brewing Co. has been a great supporter of my events.
We have two events planned with Pilot View Arts (Pilot View Arts Facebook) in the coming months. The first is Saturday November 5th at 1:00 featuring festive highland cows. Live music kicks off at noon from Jason Howard, of Rifletown (Rifletown Facebook). Our House Truck Bell On Wheels (Bell On Wheels Facebook) opens their doors for Brunch starting at 11:00 and running until 2:00.
On December third Pilot View Arts will be back for a Barn Quilt Painting Class, again accompanied by Bell On Wheels. For this event local musical act, Them Lasses (Them Lasses Facebook) comprised of Erin Sliney, Brittany Dawn, and Abby Rank will be providing the harmony to a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
